Q. I am interested, but how do I know which session to register for?
Feel free to email Robbyn to set up a free 10-minute phone consultation. With just a few questions, Robbyn will advise you on which session is the best for you.
Q. Why should I sign up for the 101 Session when my student is only in Grade 9?
Because proactive high school planning starts in grade 9! You do not want to wait until later grades to provide the opportunity for your teen to ‘make the most’ out of their four years at high school.
Q. My high school student has NO CLUE about what they want to do after high school. Can you help?
Yes, I can. I encourage you to join the NEXT STEPS series which offers career coaching to help the student focus on who they want to be.
Q. When is the best time to enroll for each session?
- 101 Workshop – Grade 9 (or 10 if you missed it!)
- Next Steps Workshop – Grade 10 or 11
- 301 Series – Grade 11 (or grade 10 if the student has ideas about their post-secondary plan).
- Time to Apply Series – Grade 12 or 12+
Q. What is the best way to utilize my 60-minute 1-on-1 session?
Once registered, you’ll receive a questionnaire. Complete and return it to Robbyn a couple of days prior to your scheduled appointment to allow for the best possible preparation.
Q. Can I book a session with my friends?
If you and your friends are like-minded and have similar post-secondary interests, I would encourage you to book a small group session. Each student will complete the questionnaire prior to the session, and we will work collaboratively throughout it.
Q. My student is a member of a Youth Group/Sports Team/Club and a number of parents are interested in joining a session. What are our options?
You could join up for an online session together as one group. I would ask that one parent be my contact person to share information. Alternatively, if you are within reasonable driving distance, I could come to the youth group/team/club and do an in-person session with the group.
